Blogging with TextMate

There is a new screencast up at the TextMate blog showing off how you can blog right from TextMate. Watch the screencast and I think you'll agree with me that it is pretty darn cool. Now, I don't think I'll be giving up MarsEdit any time soon, but it is nice to know there are options out there.

I use Journaler. It's free, has an amazing interface, many awesome and advanced features souch as sound and video recording per entry. Version 2.0 was just released just a few days ago. You can use it for a Journal or blog with it.

Gary, I like MarsEdit because it is so simple. Ecto has always seemed like a bit much to me. I just want a window to type in, a way to insert pictures, and a way to preview before I post.

Also, what's so good about MarsEdit? I still think that ecto > MarsEdit, even though ecto is so outdated. Where's the WYSIWYG feature in MarsEdit?
