More Leopard screenshots?

Several people have sent us this link purporting to show two screenshots of Apple's next update to OS X, Leopard (which will be OS X 10.5). Are they the real deal? Perhaps, but notice this post is listed under 'Rumors' and that's for a reason.
However, let's assume for the moment that they are real and think about what we're seeing. The menu bar includes the Boot Camp logo, the 'About this Mac' shows that Windows is installed on this Mac, not to mention the fact that IE 7 appears to be running inside of OS X. Pretty neat, but the only way we'll know for certain what'll be in Leopard is to wait until Steve's WWDC keynote.
Update: As we all suspected, they're fakes.

False apple knowledge everywhere!
i would just like to say, props if the tabbed finder window ends up being legit.
June 25 2006 at 11:26 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe title of the finderwindow seems to include a downward arrow, meant to reveal the path of the current finder location. This would make a lot of sense, since many users don't seem to know that if you command-click the title of a window, the path is revealed.
Also: running windows apps natively in an OSX environment. Think about it: it makes perfect sense. Why did/does anyone ever want to access classic ? Not for the OS, but for that one app that is still not available in OSX. Same here. Why would anyone want to access Windows from within OSX ? Not for the environment of the fancy Start menu. No, for AutoCAD, or ... what else exactly ?

It's been confirmed by the creator himself that the images are 100% fake. He photoshopped the whole thing. He goes in to detail of how he did it.
June 24 2006 at 1:35 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyFake: Why have the cheesy spyhole trasnition between desktops when Windoze is running in a window and IE7 in the dock?
However, I do think they're on the mark with tabbed Finder windows though....
and again a fake shot:
- the font size of the windows info in the about windows is different.
- the space the explorer icon takes in the dock ist a little bit to small (not as wide as the others)
- uno is used to unify the finder (dark unify look)
In addition to all of the other giveaways, isn't it a bit odd that there is no "user" evident in the first desktop depicted?

June 23 2006 at 11:20 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWouldn't it be nice if Apple OS/X had window's API built in. The negative aspects of this is you get all of window's problems along with it.

its fake. "windows" word in "About This Mac" is blackandwhite, rest of the words are colorized. screen @ http://blog.fotogenia.info/?p=370
