Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.2.5 Update
Microsoft released a patch for Office 2004 for Mac today which, 'fixes vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code. This update also fixes issues in Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac and includes all of the improvements released in all previous Office 2004 updates.'If you're using Entourage with an Exchange account like I am (don't judge me!) be sure to read all the directions as this update may cause some data loss if not installed correctly.

I just upgraded Entourage 2004 for Mac to v. 11.2.5. I have two accounts, one with gmail and the other with Verizon.
Since I upgraded Entourage, my Verizon account deposits two of each pieces of mail into my folders. If I have programed Entourage to transfer some mail to an alternate folders, one copy is transfered and the other
stays in the "inbox". This particulary bothersome when the other folder is my spam folder. The mail goes there but a copy also is in my " inbox" where
I did not want it.
I installed this update and it killed my Airport settings and caused the help viewer to be unusable. I had to trash the helpviewer plist and now must connect to my wireless network each time I use my beloved Pismo... I'm a doofus for installing this one since Office seemed to be working fine before.

Microsoft, please fix!
This update screwed me! Video performance is deathly slow now. Thanks MicroScrew. Take it back, please!

Isn't this the story of Microsoft's life? Glad to see that the MBU hasn't drifted away from their company's fine traditions.
MS office is a long time to support mac platform. but its division is completely different from MS. they all use macs, ipods, too. it's more like Apple friendly division. it's maybe only one in MS.
