Psych pilot free on iTunes

Hey all you free loading Americans out there (which including yours truly) the iTunes Music Store has a free goodie for you (and yes it is US only, don't shoot the messenger). You can download the pilot of the USA Network's newest show 'Pysch.'

I don't know how long this will last, so get to downloading whilst the downloading is good!

Thanks, Philip.

Following up on Elias's comment (#5), it is true that you can download music and tv shows from anywhere in the world as long as you are using the iTunes Music Store that coincides with the country where your credit card bill is sent. Thus, Elias was able to download from iTMS in Mexico (using the US iTMS, right?), as I was able to in Spain this summer. But of course, I wasn't able to download music from the Spain iTMS since my billing address is in the US. A handy tip for all of you setting off on vacation soon.

I download the free pilot of Kyle XY on iTunes a couple weeks back. Terrible show, but I actually hope networks start releasing pilots like this in the future. For one, it's easier for them to track and people will actually download and watch the show because it's free. It's a win/win any way you look at it.

But knowing that most networks are owned by half-dead old people on their death beds and tubes up their noses, I doubt they'll consider this move any time soon -- especially since they're still concerned with that whole VCR phenomenon.

I watched the whole episode right on the USA website. Pretty cool and worth wondering if THIS is the future of tv? Maybe TV networks will make more money on selling ad space on their own websites rather than TV commercials.

I find it interesting that the last few posts were posted exactly an hour apart from each other.

usually they're on for a week before they take them off. I wish iTMS would get a "free tv shows" corner like they have with the free music in the bottom left corner of the main page. That would be much better than watching the TV shows page every week for 5 minutes to see if any new shows are on the give-away rack.
