Found Footage: I'm a PC on the Daily Show
John Hodgman, the fellow who plays the PC in Apple's recent commercial blitz, is a regular Daily Show guest. This clip features Hodgman discussing Net Neutrality by way of pretending that he is a computer of some sort. I wonder what kind of computer he would be. Watch the video and find out.

Haha, John Stewart does kinda seem like he'd be a Mac user to me. I have no idea why, he just does.
o-o That was funny, I actually laughed a couple times. Maybe that episode will be on in reruns, I wanna see it.

This just in: Guerro opposes net neutrality. He also can't actually roll his "rr"s in order to pronounce his screen name correctly, he just thinks it looks cool cause he's pretty sure it means "war" in some language or other.

I thought it was pretty funny. I don't know if it was scripted or not (part of the bit's charm), but the part where the guy reluctantly admits he's a PC is priceless--an eerie mixture of the TV ad persona and the real actor reluctantly admiting to something he wasn't very happy about.
And it was as good a laymans explanation of the net neutrality issue as I've heard.

I have seen Macs in videos of both the Daily Show and Colbert Report offices. But that shouldn't be too surprising; smart, creative people always use Macs! ;-)

#7: "Jon Stewart is a pile of steaming crap and so is his so-called television show."
you may think it's a pile of steaming crap, but there's nothing 'so-called' about his television show: it definitely exists, it's definitely a show, and it's definitely on tv.

Wow. I guess when one cannot defend the show he turns to personal attacks. Bravo. You've proven my statement true.

What statement? That Jon Stewart is a steaming pile of crap? Or that he as a "so-called" tv show?
And, so by starting with a personal attack ("steaming pile of crap"), does that then negate your statement somehow, if anyone really knows what your statement is? Are we caught in a loop?
I think *you've* proven something, that's for sure. But I'll refrain from the personal attacks and just leave it at that.
As for the clip (and the show)...good stuff. Very funny.

Jon Stewart, the genius, has been using Macs for a looong time. I remember when he proudly claimed to be a Mac geek when he was host of Comedy Central's "Short Attention Span Theater" in the early 90s. (15 years ago!)
I live in New York and saw him at Digital Society (digsoc.com) once. Short dude.
We have to assume that "guerro" is a knee-jerk Republican who doesn't wike it when people make fun of the pwesident.

Wow. now we are ASSuming things. Awesome. I guess since you are "calling" me a Republican you must be Democrats ? If any of you spoke any Spanish you would know what my name means. It doesnt mean war, or warrior. But you are educated democrats. Guess you dont wike it when people make fun of your talk show host? Whatever. Get over yourselves. I come here for information on Apple related items. Not to be bored by someone like Jon Stewart and his blind followers.
