I knew Steve was a blogger! He's opinionated, passionate, and technologically savvy so it stands to reason that he would have a blog. The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs gives us Macophiles a glimpse into the mind of the man who is responsible for most of the cool tech we love. Be sure to check out why the tech support folks in Apple stores are called Geniuses. Classic.

And before the comments start filling up with 'OMG! This is fake. TUAW sucks!' we know it is a joke, so just enjoy.

I am fascinated by what has been happening with this blog. On Monday it was pulled and an RIP notice went up. About a day later it purportedly re-emerged on a different page though (to me) it reads like a different Fake Steve. Several new posts have appeared and some of the old archives were put up but my sense is that, for whatever reasons, the writer of the original Secret Diary has backed out. Lots of unanswered questions here. If anyone is interested some of the original posts from back in June can be found here: http://www.squidoo.com/Jobs-blog/

Of course it's fake. That's what makes it so cool. Steve Jobs probably wouldn't act that way. Or at least wouldn't boast about it.
