Warner Bros. TV shows added to iTMS

That's right, folks (I'm channeling Porky Pig) Warner Brothers has added some of their shows to the iTunes Music Store. The six shows include:
It looks like only the first seasons have been added at this point though I would imagine more and more seasons (of those shows that have seaons) will be added.

Thanks, Adam.

Well, if we are promoting new stuff at iTMS. . .I watched the free download of the intro to the new Blade TV series and I think it will be a keeper.

Would *everyone* here do me a favor? Go to http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html and request MacGyver!

I've been bugging them about getting MacGyver for a while, but they seem to have ignored me. If they could put knightrider on iTMS, I'm sure they can get MacGyver. I don't know about you, but I sure as heck would enjoy MacGyver a lot more than Knightrider.

If enough people request it, I'm sure they'll listen.

Oh I take that back... the URL shows for me since it's already in my iTunes library (I can click the arrow to take me to the store URL) but clicking the above URL says that it's not available (even though I'm looking at the page for it now - odd.)

Don't complain that one or two shows are not available in Canada. In Europe there is not a single video made available. This includes any Music Video, Pixar Short or TV Show.

Those Media companies complain about pirating but fail to make their products available for purchase. I guess they are just too dumb to sell their products the way customers want to buy them.

Apple, give those Media Moguls a kick and tell them there actually is a global world OUTSIDE the USA. It is called "Rest of the World" and they already have developed "money" they are interested in spending...

Bah, the Babylon 5 videos aren't widescreen. If you really like the show, go buy the DVDs. All the live shots were filmed in 16x9, but framed to work for 4:3 tvs of the time. The CGI shots were rendered in 4:3, but done so that they could crop them to widescreen and not lose anything important. Sadly the files to make the CGI sequences early on were lost, so there is some resolution loss, but I still prefer the widescreen versions on DVD to some DRM 4:3 file off the iTunes store.

And if you look around, you can get the DVDs cheeper anyhow.

what's more interesting is that "Aquaman" was canelled by the CW. so they are actually going to release a cancelled series for download. this may be a step in the right direction for all those shows that were popular, but not popular enough for the network. and it could open up an avenue for 'direct to download' television series.
