Universal Flip4Mac coming soon (Today!)
People who want to play Windows Media files on their Intel Macs can rejoice, eventually. That's right, Telestream, the makers of the very cool Flip4Mac which enables Quicktime to play Windows Media files, have posted a note on their website. It basically says that they are working on a Universal Binary and they hope to release it within the next few weeks.Update: The real story here is that the Universal version of Flip4Mac (2.1) is available from Microsoft right now. Go forth and download. Thanks, Andy!

They have been taking the piss with this. I know nothing about how long it takes to makethis stuff but they have been taking their sweet ass time. I am soooo glad someone leaked the beta of this other wise well... I would have to wait longer and bitch about it on the internet.

How is it that Parallels Desktop was developed and SHIPPED in far less time than it took F4M to make a universal binary?

I don't think you can compare the development times of two completely different pieces of software.

Funny thing is the official version still is screwy on so many sites. Kinda shoddy workmanship on this software....

Just a FYI, this appears to be a slightly newer build of the beta compared to the one that came out a month or two ago. So this is newsworthy.
