WWDC 2006 Keynote: To Chatcast or not to Chatcast
Alright, folks, as you know we will be offering a straightforward play by play of Steve's keynote today, but there is a TUAW tradition that I haven't mentioned yet: the infamous TUAW Chatcast!It is traditional for the TUAW bloggers to get together in a chat room and talk about the announcements as they happen, we then post that chat transcript for all to see (examples here and here). This gives a nice counterpoint to the more organized presentation that we will also be doing.
What say you, readers, should we continue this fine tradition? Sound off in the comments, and remember that bloggers have feelings too.

Yes - please have a running commentary in an IRC channel. It's quicker and less 'boggy' than refreshing an HTML page.
Also wouldn't mind if the channel was limited to just the transcripter to write. Otherwise the channel if filled with "W00ts" and "thats so awesome" - which really don't add anything.
