OnLine Pro - automatic daily backup service for Mac OS X
Clunk Click, an online data backup service provider in the UK (with a somewhat awkward name), has opened up their OnLine Pro automatic backup service for Mac OS X users. Installing a small piece of software from the company allows users to specify which files are backed up to their secure data storage center, which is also backed up to a second storage center for the ultimate in backup redundancy.10-day free trials are available upon request, while prices start at $5/month. Check out their press release for more information.

Yeah, great, ti would be nice if they actually said anything on thier web site. There is no indication of how the software works or what the price is. They need to slap the marketing people and remind them that on occassion, customers actually like to know something about a product before deciding even to start a free trial.

I suppose you have to be a certain age (30+) but in the UK 'clink click' was a phrase devised for the road safety campaign fronted by DJ Sir Jimmy Saville aimed at getting us all to wear seat belts in the days before it was a legal requirement.
In the ads he would demonstrate the effects of an accident on people not wearing their seatbelts and the ad would end with the phrase "clunk click every trip" - clunk click being onomatopaeic reference to the sounds of 70s seat belts... "clunk the car door, click the seat belt..."
Tell you what take a look for yourself! http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/films/1964to1979/filmpage_clunk.htm

Unrelated, but the flash ads on your site are new, right? I'm sorry, but those are annoying to me and probably everyone else out there.
Also, the "Mate 1" ads are mildly offensive.
Otherwise, you have a wonderful site.

We now offer a secure solution that will simplify the backup process for Mac users. They can benefit from cost-effective mirrored offsite backup and storage without the need for additional hardware.

Looks like insurance. But here you provide money and they offer you your lost information. It's better than money

I would wait instead for www.carbonite.com. Soon they'll be for mac as well as PC, and they have UNLIMITED storage for $5 per month. Non-stop, automatic backups.

And in the meantime, you can at least backup your entire music collection for just $3.33 per month at MP3tunes.com.
Again, UNLIMITED storage. It's totally sweet. My biggest problem with backup always was that my music collection was so huge (50gb+). Now that I have that solved with mp3tunes, I can manage the rest of my backup pretty easily, using the 1gb in my .Mac account for the important, automated, frequent online backups, and then weekly or monthly backup a batch of other stuff to a cd or dvd or two.
