FlexTime 1.0

FlexTime 1.0 has just been released and time obsessed Mac users rejoice! What is FlexTime? Some might call it a timer, but it is a very advanced timer. You can build 'routines' based on timed intervals, which in turn can cue you with a number of different cues (i.e. it can play a sound, run a script). This is a very slick app that some people will find extremely useful.

FlexTime 1.0 will run you $18.95 and requires 10.4. There is a 30 day demo available.

I think it' a terrific app, I've been wanting something just like this. What I think is critical now, is for the publishers of it to open up a forum where people can share the routines they've created.

To follow up on mroach:

How is this any better than using iCal? Will it watch for processes to complete and then run a secondary script?

mroach, are you kidding? This is nothing at all like cron. Better or worse is not really a meaningful comparison because cron and FlexTime serve entirely different purposes. Just look at the screenshot and think about how you'd do the same thing with cron. You couldn't, that's not what cron does.
