Quicksilver del.icio.us plugin updated
For all the Quicksilver users out there, the del.icio.us plugin has been updated for (what I assume is) the recent change in their API that seems to have afflicted every app that has anything to do with access to the social bookmarking service. As one might guess, the del.icio.us plugin simply allows access to one's del.icio.us bookmarks from directly within Quicksilver, just like browsing the bookmarks of any local browsers. The documentation page I link to says the plugin isn't compatible with Intel-based Macs yet, but I'm pretty sure that's outdated, as it appeared in my MacBook Pro's plugin list quite a while ago and has made my life all the better since.Share

For the record, my problems (#1) have cleared up. The proper "auto-update" notification came up, and reselecting the plugin gave me a healthy working reload effect.

Also, the Quicksilver download for blacktree.com isn't working either, so I wonder if there is some sort of connection error going on.
I refreshed my list of plugins and I see the del.icio.us plugin update (dated yesterday), but I can't install it (clicking the checkbox next to it doesn't install it like it normally would).
I would guess that something is wrong on Blacktree's side of things and it's preventing updates from Quicksilver.
#1: Go to you General/Application preference pane in QS and simply click the 'check for updates now' button, that should do the trick.

For the record, I had to go to QS's plug-ins section, select the currently-installed del.icio.us plug-in, delete it, relaunch, refresh the plug-ins list, install the new plug-in, relaunch, and re-add it to my catalog (whew!) before it all worked again. But it's back in order. Thanks for the heads-up TUAW!

BUT - how do I force this update? I tried unchecking and rechecking the entry under Plug-Ins, and then I deleted ("minus" key) and re-added ("plus" key) under catalog->custom.
It doesn't seem have updated.
Anyone have a suggestion? Is that what one should do to update these plugins?
