Widget Watch: Get Picture Framer for free

Monkey Business Labs and Photojojo are offering Picture Framer Deluxe, which usually costs $5, for free. Why are they doing this? Free publicity, I imagine.

If you are looking for a Dashboard widget that can cycle through your iPhoto library, or your Flickr stream then you can't do better than this deal. This deal is valid until noon tomorrow.

If you don't get it in time to get the Deluxe version,
There is hope! Dig through the javascript that defines the widget and you'll find a line commented out that will enable 'Deluxe' mode.

Zach - you want Photo Desktop. It's an amazing little app, and is free. It's one of the first thing I install on my machines - set it up, then never touch it again. No slowdown or anything, great all around.

I think Yahoo Widgets will do this: http://widgets.yahoo.com/

I haven't used it on OS X but the WIndows version definitely has a flickr widget that goes right on your desktop.

This is cool and all, but you have to open up Dashboard in order to see them. Is there a way to show widgets right on the desktop, all the time? If there is I've missed it.
