Use Spotlight as a reference tool. Type any word in the Spotlight box and one of the top entries will be a definition. Click on it, and it will bring up the dictionary application to check the word in either the dictionary, thesaurus, Apple database, or Wikipedia.

Well, does it export pictures of the maps too, showing your route on it? Could display them on your iPod...

Skip the software and buy a GPS. It's liberating to go for a run, make up your route on the fly, and still know the distance you've covered.
