Banner for September 12th event?

Here's the latest pic that is making the rounds in relation to the September 12th announcement. It purports to be a picture snapped by one of the employees at the venue that will house the announcement. I'm not buying it, but you know what they say, 'Don't shoot the messenger.'
Thanks to everyone who sent this in.

Yep, it looks like an iPod. I wouldn't take this as 100% real, but it looks okay. It could also be a new display. (although it's kind of small)

FAKE. This shot was taken at Moscone Center.

It's a total fake. Check out the Front Row DVD icon. Why would you need that on an iPod?

I _wish_ it was real. Not buying it, though. And, Yuri Walkiw (#2), it's certainly a video iPod being shown, notice the scrollwheel on the right.

A new video iPod could have some sort of optical media drive.

It could also be a locationfree TV type device that lets you play a DVD that's in your mac.

The picture of a video iPod would never be placed this way, next to a huge iMac pic. It would have its own banner instead.

It's still fake. The meta data says Photoshop CS.

Clearly, Apple has invented some hyperspace technology that lets you fit a DVD into an iPod.

That picture is gaussian blurred, not defocused [out of focus]. Thus, fake.

The reflection on the iPod does not match the iPod screen.

dude, that apple logo looks sooo out of place...and the clcik wheel too, if itll be touch screen, i dont think you would need the wheel for selecting the mode (video, music) u want.

That was quite possible the funniest thing I've read all day!

100% Real, Front Row on a Video iPod is very logical. With the imminent launch of the iTunes Movie store, why couldn't you drag and drop a movie on your iPod? The other icons represent photos and of course, music (which have already been done).
No flaming, I'm just having fun.

Very poorly laid-out design. Can you imagine Apple showing the new, true Video iPod in the bottom corner next to a HUGE chopped up two-year old (design) iMac. Nice try, guy.
