Woz arrives via Segway for the Showtime event

Pete Mortensen, of Wired's Cult of Mac blog, snapped this photo of the Woz arriving in style (of some kind) for the Apple event yesterday. Woz sure does love those Segways, and you might remember that my one and only sighting of the Woz involved a Segway.

Jeez, you people are douchebags.. Woz is a living legend whose toe-jam you are not worthy to freebase, so STFU. He's got more brains in one little finger than an entire Chelsea bar full of graphic designers and Flash developers.

So does Woz go to the front of the line.. or does he have to wait with everyone else?

Um... yeah, there's really nothing cool or hip about that... especially the helmet.

He doesn't look like the kind of guy who does too much walking.

Did he take it in the theater with him? Or are all public buildings in San Fran now required to have Segway valets?

@kokernutz

The man has payed his dues to the modern history of geekdom. You gotta expect him to show off his toys a bit. Just wait till' hover chairs or something come out.

Plus, a Segway isn't really suitable for the mobility challenged. You have to be able to stand in order to use it and if it runs out of power, you're screwed.
