When will Movies be available at the Canadian store? It's been too long already and we still have no access. Not that I'm dying to buy a $12 movie when I can rent one for $5 and watch it in better quality, or even buy a full DVD with extras and all for $20. With Macs capable of so much more I don't get why we're still being limited to sub DVD quality for movies, TV and music videos.
September 14 2006 at 7:31 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replywow, this new 640x480 quality is quite great!
my only complaint is when i goto full screen it blacks out my second monitor, (i like having it open for email or doing work)
but wow the quality is sweet! (watching the lost survival guide)
When I saw this post come into my feed, the first thing I noticed was "Grey's Anatomy", which was not in iTunes before... My wife is a huge fan so I jumped over to see if we could get her the season pass. I was dissapointed that it wasnt there. :( But maybe this means it'll be coming soon?

I just checked and it is :) yay!
September 14 2006 at 10:52 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyToo bad you have to have a US based credit card and account with the iTunes store before you can download the free episodes. I guess I will just have to get these off bittorrent sites until Apple allows non-U.S. customers to download tv shows even if they are free. It's a shame that I have to break the US copyright law even though they are offering these for free.
September 14 2006 at 10:51 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyrats, they are requiring itunes 7 for this. i'm reluctant to upgrade on the second day it's been released. there are a slew of people reporting problems on the apple forums.
September 14 2006 at 10:39 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI suppose these are 640 X 480... right?
September 14 2006 at 10:33 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWell, guess it won't be long until we see full seasons of Grey's Anatomy, great. But these files are _huge_, and not widescreen, -- shame that illegal downloads (hush!) are smaller and have the right format. Anyway, nothing to complain (ah, except for the "cover" art, it shows only Grey's in CoverFlow, even though Lost and DH should have their own pictures...).
September 14 2006 at 10:14 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThanks for the correct lnk Jens.
And I just noticed how fast this macbook really is when clicked that link, it resolved to the itunes launching link and my itunes.app was launced and redirected in less than a second.
Thank
You
