TUAW wants you: today is the deadline

Today at midnight (EST) is the deadline to get your application in to become a member of team TUAW. Blogging your little heart out has never been more fun! The guidelines haven't changed (and we are sticklers for this kind of thing):
  • A brief bio
  • 3 samples of posts written in TUAW's style. One should be a review of something, another an opinion piece, and the third can be whatever strikes your fancy (existing blog posts cannot be used, this has to be new material)
  • Your current Mac setup
Email all of those things (yes, all of those things. And no, you can't just link to a bio) to apps-at-tuaw-com in plain text (no attachments, please). If you have ever thought, 'I can write better than that doofus McNulty,' now is your chance to prove it (though the doofus is reading all the applications).

One of the ads on your site is messing up the right side of the pages it is on. It's got a blinking black gray white thing going on that affects the page, not just the ad. I've seen it for a couple of days now. Fix it. Don't you people read your own pages in Safari?

I haven't got the time, inclination or skill for this.

but I think that it is important that you recruit people in timezones outside the US as it is nice to read something fresh in the morning....

I sent mine in a few days ago. Hope I get a shot, but either way I won't be offended. I've got this site set as my home page, the layout mixed with the short but sweet articles keep me comin' back.

I sent in my application last night at about 9:00 and I had an article that I found about the update to iSquint which I just realized TUAW posted this morning at 5:00 a.m. by you, Scott. I just would like to point out that my writing was technically new material because I wrote it about 8 hours before it was posted on TUAW. I just didn't want to get penalized for it because now it isn't new material anymore.
