I feel Apple listens to it's customer crash reports more than ANY other fscking company on earth. This is WHY you buy a Mac. Screw Microsoft.

FairGame successfully converted a song purchased in 7.0.1 after the installation of 7.0.2. If I find a song I need I'll give it a try after buying one in 7.0.2.

After updating to 7.0.2 there was a lenghty "Updating iTunes Library..." process. I have a huge library wich is probably what took it a few minutes, but I wonder what it was doing......

Hmm, the XP version of Software Update utility never seems to recognise that there is a new version of iTunes to download. Quite annoying really, but ah all.

At a quick look, this seems to fix buggy mouse work (clicking on buttons with a G4 trackpad no longer stick, for example).
Still doesn't recognize homemade audiobooks in category of the same name in iTunes.
Still having trouble importing CDs (a new glitch with 7x, of course).
True to form, Apple phone support is a steamy pile without AppleCare. I guess it is over to the iTunes feedback page once again and hope they peg it in 7.0.3...

I'm so glad I decided to wait it out. From what I hear around the web version 7 is the Windows ME of iTunes...

Hey, the icon, isn't it from iTunes 6?

In the custom install options for the installer, "Apple Phone driver" appears, but is greyed out. It's 220KB.
is this for the oft-rumored iPhone?

I just updated and now iTunes store is in French. I kid you not. The available albums are completely different, and it will not let me get to the movies page... restarted twice, and still in French.

I had the same problem (Japanese iTMS on start-up). I fixed it by clicking on my account settings button (the box in the upper-right containing your email address). iTunes then said something like "Your account is only valid for the US store" and then it took me to the US store. I quit and restart iTunes and it again opened to the US store.

My store defaulted to the German store, unfortunately I've never had a German iTunes account. After I scrolled to the bottom of the screen and changed to the United States store and restarted, it appears to default to the United States store now.
I agree with Toolman, "best update ever."

German ITMS here. Nothing navigating back to the US store didn't fix.
This is my favorite "bug" ever. It's hard to imagine how this could happen from a programming perspective though :)

iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED now shows up as red, not silver.

Is'n FairGame just generating a transcode? If so, it doesn't really strip the DRM in a lossless form...

not completely relevant, but...
can anyone tell me what is the point of the 'Apple Software Update' program on Windows?
iTunes tells me that v7.0.2 is available, where as software update tells me that everything is up to date.
The only thing software update seems to update is itself!

@ Asif:
I believe those drivers are for the Moto line of iTunes capable phones, such as the ROKR, V3i, SLVR etc

wow, not only did it take me to the German iTunes store but it automatically downloaded the entire back catalogs of Rammstein, Neu! and Kraftwerk to my iPod.
best update ever!

Is there a way to go back to iTunes 6.x? Version 7 always takes a long time to start up, much, much longer than version 6; I always get that dialog box that says it's updating the playlist or something (don't have it front of me right now, so I'm not sure of the wording.)
