ADC on using nightly WebKit builds

Last year we blogged about the availability of nightly WebKit builds (WebKit being the HTML rendering engine that Apple uses in OS X and has made available to the Open Source community). The Apple Developer Connection has an article up explaining what nightly builds are and why you might want to use them. The long and the short of it being that if you are a developer using WebKit to power your app (or widget) nightly builds give you a chance to see the changes in WebKit before they become part of the OS.

I was using WebKit for ages with no problems, but lately it seems to crash, a LOT, so I've switched back to Safari. Anyone else notice this?

Also, flickr doesn't seem to work in it anymore - not sure why. Is it just me?

Only down side is that Saft will not work with Webkit. Once that gets worked out, I'll be back to webkit in a flash.

I use webkit when I need to do web development work. Not only is it slightly more compliant to random things than current safari, it also includes lots of cool developer-related stuff like a javascript debugger.

Other than that it does sometimes contain bugs so for normal browsing I use normal safari.

I use it because it's stabler than the "official" Safari builds.

This may seem offtopic, but I like that icon better than the stock Safari one. Anyway I can get a PNG verson of it with transperancy. I've got work to do hacking my icons.
