I did the update and now am having issues with my macmail. Mail I sent doesn't show up in the sent file. No one is getting anything from me. I lost something that was sent to me today. Anyone else having this problem?
December 20 2006 at 7:50 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI have the G5 iMac 20 inch and tried to install this firmware update. I heard the loud beep and then it tried to start up. Then the progress bar seemed to freeze about halfway thru and I tried to start up again. Now, it seems as if the computer will start up, but I get no video, just a black screen. Anyone had this happen or have any answers?

Aside from that, it was flawless- not sure what the update actually changes though? Can anyone tell us?
My MBP is running much cooler now. I don't feel like I'm going to burn my hands. I'm also getting about 30 more minutes of battery time than before.
