I did the update and now am having issues with my macmail. Mail I sent doesn't show up in the sent file. No one is getting anything from me. I lost something that was sent to me today. Anyone else having this problem?

I have the G5 iMac 20 inch and tried to install this firmware update. I heard the loud beep and then it tried to start up. Then the progress bar seemed to freeze about halfway thru and I tried to start up again. Now, it seems as if the computer will start up, but I get no video, just a black screen. Anyone had this happen or have any answers?

Does anyone know what this actually fixes? The description is so vague...

I agree with Debra. My MBP is hotter since I installed this update.

Haha, what a crazy beep when you turn it on! So loud!

Aside from that, it was flawless- not sure what the update actually changes though? Can anyone tell us?

My MBP is running much cooler now. I don't feel like I'm going to burn my hands. I'm also getting about 30 more minutes of battery time than before.

Quickest firmware update yet on my MBP CD W8611xxx model. Smooth, no problems. Will have to see if it takes the whine away when I get to a quieter environment.

#39, that's odd, my iSight wasn't working before the update on my 17" Intel iMac, but now it is.

#41: I dropped the update on my 2.16 MBP Core Duo last night, and no problems as of yet with Parallels.
