Mat Lu: The New Guy
Hey TUAW-folks, I'd thought I'd introduce myself as the newest contributor of TUAW goodness (I hope). I'm one of you guys - a faithful TUAW reader who responded to Scott's call for applications a while back - and I'm thrilled to be server side. In real life I teach philosophy at a large Southern U.S. university, but I've had a passion for the Mac since first becoming one of those half-mythical iPod Halo effect switchers back in early 2002. I thought I would introduce myself over the next few days by sharing some of my favorite programs and utilities that have not been discussed on TUAW so far. See ya on the flip side.

Welcome Mat! Please bring in deep thoughts and apologetics to the mac community. Premises and conclusions are always welcomed. Thanks. Oh, also...
Goodness, Goodness, Goodness, Goodness, Goodness, Goodness, Goodness! That was for Nick. Perhaps Nick has psychological issues that stem from a lack of goodness liking. So, any words, like fragrances, might bring back bad memories. I think we all need to ask Nick to trust this community and be open with us on what has hurt him. Nick, it is ok to talk...
Nick, dude, this is TUAW! We have to use "silly jargon."

As long as you don' t make the same failure as David Chartier does, who posts an article about iPod vibrators 3 times your TUAW participation and support will be well seen!
See... Nick is already turning on you, like Laurie predicted! My goodness :)

A philosophy-guy is never bad, but I do expect some deep stuff now! :)
Hello. But please stop using silly jargon like "goodness". You're not advertising malted milk.

Put them together and you get a very happy switcher that has already replaced all computers WinBoxes with Macs. Glad to hear you too are a fellow switcher and it'll be nice to hear from you in the future.
