Save 10% - iTunes $50 gift card for $45 at Costco

Christopher Breen at Playlist's iPod blog found a great little deal on iTunes gift cards. Costco.com is offering the $50 gift card for $45 while supplies last. Breen mentions that local Costcos brick and mortar retail outlets may have a limited supply available for sale as well.

This is a great price for a last-second gift. I'd hardly call a $45 item a stocking stuffer, but it would fit very nicely into most people's small-sized gift needs.

Last year, right around this time, iTunes and PayPal had a really sweet deal where if you purchased an iTunes gift cert through the ITMS using PayPal, you got free songs for yourself.

"* Buy a $20 gift certificate—get 10 free songs
* Buy a $50 gift certificate—get 25 free songs"

I bought about $150 worth of gift certs for friends, family (and for myself), and wound up with something like 75 free songs.

I wish they would do something like that again!

i recently bought my brother a $25 dollar gift card for $20 bucks at Target. It does not look like a standard gift card, it was bigger and advertising the purchase of shows on the front, but it could be used for any iTunes purchase.
