Ten bad iPod presents

Podcasting News has penned a list of the ten worst iPod gifts that you could possibly give to anyone this holiday season, and they are pretty bad. The iCarta, which I spotted first at last year's Macworld, is first on the list and it gets worse from there. Also on the list are iPod panties, iPod jeans, and the iDisguise.

If you're looking for some iPod related gag gifts, I would head on over to Podcasting News and start taking some notes. Be warned, your iPod toting friends are not going to be happy with these items, but I am sure the look on their face will make up for the disappointment.

Underwear, bras and other clothing items might seem ridiculous for ipods, but as an insulin pump user, I search high and low for ways to wear my pump that are easy and convenient. I'm strapped to this thing 24/7 to stay alive. Instead of turning your noses up at products that seems irrelevant, open your mind to the possibility that it might have a useful purpose, and promote it as such. Your mockery does nothing to help me and the other people who wear insulin pumps find products to make our lives easier.

Why post the Bad List?

Because most of us are semi-clueless and need to be told what's dumb.
The truly-clueless don't know they need to be told and actually buy this drek.

I would think a Zune would be on that list.
Or perhaps a subscription to Rhapsody.
Or both.

the question that comes to mind reading this is:
why promote bad presents? know what i'm saying? What's gone wrong here?
It's like promoting bad software, giving it the publicity it doesn't actually deserve...
