would it have been too much to have added audio streaming to this. i'm still going to end up parking an airport express next to this.

Uggh this is so much better than the old Airport I bought just a few months ago for more money!

You missed: CD with AirPort Utility (Mac and Windows), 802.11n Enabler for Core 2 Duo and Xeon-based Macintosh computers (except 17-inch 1.83GHz iMac), Bonjour for Windows.
Looks like it enables 802.11n in the new Macs.

2. Where is the magnet power connector?

Do these support AFP? I want a NAS (network attached storage) but all of the inexpensive ones use SMB, which leads to problems with unsupported characters in the file name.

So, does anybody want to buy an 802.11g Airport Extreme? I'll be selling mine now, thank you.

Is no one else angered by this? If you bought any Core Duo mac you are just out of luck on the 802.11n train? Are they even removable? Can we upgrade them somehow to take advantage of 'n' speeds for storage and AppleTV? I mean, having spent 3k on a 17" mbp around July 30th... it's not a good feeling knowing I am stuck without a primary ability for the next couple years unless I want a clunky USB key or whatever will emerge on the market.

So what happen if i want to use BOTH Printer and external HD?
( There are currently similar device on the market but Printer sharing wont work on Mac )
SMB or AFP? Good Questions.
USB Connection with a Western Digital MyBook 2 1TB Series would be nice :)
Thoughts for upgrade
1G Port? eSATA ? 2 USB Port?
Afterthought: Not too expensive considering it is a 802.11n router.

Edward C-
If you look at the Apple website, you'll find that you can "Just connect a USB hub to AirPort Extreme and attach your devices to the hub. Share both a printer and a hard drive, multiple printers, or multiple hard drives."

"So what happen if i want to use BOTH Printer and external HD?"
According to the Apple website:
"What if you’d like to exchange files over your wireless network and still have access to a network printer? Easy. Just connect a USB hub to AirPort Extreme and attach your devices to the hub. Share both a printer and a hard drive, multiple printers, or multiple hard drives."

For the price--it should have included gigabit and possibly another ethernet port.

What I want to know is where are the antennas? All the other N base stations have these three wacky antennas that I was made to believe was crucial to the way .11N works. Hmmmm....
