Thumbscrew Your Thumbnails
If you want to add a little pizzaz to thumbnails of your pictures (e.g. for posting on your website, etc.) then Thumbscrew is for you. You just drag and drop your images on the little application window and it will automatically create rotated (i.e. screwed) thumbnails like the one to the right. You can set the amount of rotation, thumbnail size, and there's even Growl support.
Thumbscrew is a free download from Urbanape.

Perhaps you mean "skewed" — "screwed" has a number of contotations, sexual, perjorative, bad luck, act of (see Home & Garden Network), and there is much debate over the relative merits of the Philips/torx/slot head vs the highly superior Robertson screw. But rotating a picture 45° is probably not one of them ;o)

Kyle - you may be right, but based on the NAME of the app, then "(ie screwed)" fits the explanation.

They should have called it Thumbskew. Not Thumbscrew, it sounds dirty. :)

I'm not sure what's dirty about it. Instrument of torture? Yes. Little bit that gets lost that holds your Dell POS case together? Yes. Dirty? I don't think so. :^)
