Adult Swim Fix finally works with Macintosh
TV Squad, our sister site, reports that Adult Swim Fix has finally achieved Mac friendliness. Adult Swim Fix, for those of you unfamiliar with the site, is a Cartoon Network broadband video site offering clips and full episodes of Adult Swim series. Not having a Mac, the poster Adam Finley couldn't test out the site. Poor man, he's stuck with a PC. So I headed on over to see what the site had to offer.
It loaded without any trouble, and within a few seconds I was watching some obscure (at least I think it is obscure) Manga-style show named Trinity Blood. Just a click later, I loaded Tom Goes to the Mayor. Worked great. If you're an Adult Swim fan, pop on over and enjoy the new Macfriendlinessitude.

Finally, one less reason to use Windows for me :) I love Parallels, but having to use it just for watching Adult Swim Fix was getting annoying!

For the record, manga is for Comics, when it's animated, it's...anime. Cool Stuff, and Trinity Blood was a huge hit in Japan last year, one of the faster tranlations we've had recently. :D

I've already missed weeks of new episodes because of this. Better late than never, I guess.

Too bad it's all anime and crappy 'toons. Robot Chicken is the only decent Fix right now. Why don't they mix it up a little and put up good stuff like Venture Bros., Birdman, or Moral Orel instead of multiple episodes of the stupid crap like Tom and ATHF? Jeez.

Adult Swim Fix actually used to work fine with Macintosh...the problem was, mac users were able to download the shows to their hard drives. I knew this was NOT intended functionality and they'd do something to block it soon enough.

The older WMV based Adult Swim fix was vulnerable to video rips. They changed it to a Flash based one but left out Macs for a few months.
I noticed that the place holder page switched from WMV to Flash a week or two ago.
It's great to have Eureka SeveN back!

Finally! Did anyone happen to see the bump a while back when some one was complaining about no Mac support and [as] hated Macs?
After saying they were wining and dining her (the Mac), and that they actually all use Macs at Williams Street?
Oh, and to number 6 regarding other shows, click on "Shows", to the right of "What's New", there are 2 eps of Harvey Birdman, and 2 eps of Venture Brothers. No Morel Orel though.
Also notice the now obligatory "beta" tag

This is great! I've always been annoyed by this and I'm sure a lot of others have too. Good job AS!
