First Airport Extreme unboxing pics surface

TUAW reader Mark has just received his Airport Extreme base station, way ahead of schedule. Gasp as he shows you the contents of the box (nothing too shocking). He also compares the new Airport Extreme base station to the old UFO type, so you can get an idea of its size.
Check out his site for all the pics.

I think a Lacie ethernet disk might be better if you've already got a router.
Just received an email from Apple that my AE shipped today, picked up by FedEx and will be delivered on Monday!!!!!!!!!!

good job TUAW, you just killed the bandwidth limit on some poor .mac user's homepage. be more responsible next time :P
j/k.. i am thinking of getting a new router to replace my roommate's 3-4 year old one, but i'm not sure willing to drop almost $200 on one.. im a college student. (although i do have a 17" MBP CD...)
Has anyone else recieved there base stations? I am waiting for mine in the US and would like to get it in installed sooner rather then later!

Zebramonkey: I don't think that setup will work: USB and firewire are two different interface technologies that do not play well together (I've been looking for a solution to the same problem).
Question: I have a firewire drive, if I buy a new external USB/Firewire drive, can I attach it to the hub, then attach my firewire drive to the new USB/Firewire drive and have access to both wirelessly? That would be very nice..
