If ear protectors with built in headphones aren't for you, then you might be interested in Nike's Performance Hatphones. This hat is designed for the cold climate runner with an iPod nano (Nike specifically says that this skull cap , 'fully functional Nano click wheel controls through power mesh window in back') and you know who you are.The hatphones will set you back $60, but the hat will keep you warm and enable you to rock out indoors and out.

If it's cold enough that you need a hat (toque if you will), how are you going to operate the controls with your mittens?

Heh I actually think this is the first really kinda weird iPod accesory that I am really intrested in. I hope these things don't look stupid I can't tell from the picture. I'll have to get a closer look if I'm gonna commit. But not a bad Idea at all.

Yeah, not new, they've been out for a while. Already have one here and another on the way...great for snowboarding, also I wouldnt recommend using a nano in it, as the nano may not feel good that tight against your head. The new shuffle works great though.

No, in fact the manual recommends that you avoid jogging with buddies using the other Nike product unless you can ensure a minimum 3' span between the two of you.
They also recommend that you trade in that shiny plastic sweat-containing jog outfit, and trade up to some early-80's spandex.
