Beta Beat: We all missed the Joost Mac Alpha--but stay tuned

I just downloaded beta and posted a quick review here.

Maybe it requires some intel-only features, like some weird SSE* instruction set.

Can someone explain to me why this is intel only? It's not hard to build a Universal version

I signed up for this beta awhile ago, and even blogged about it in anticipation, and I have yet to receive an invite. I figured back then that signing up through the proper channels would produce an invite just as well as begging on forums etc.... I guess not.

So now I am asking if anyone has a beta account and an extra invite, one would be very appreciated. I am a masters student in Digital Media and I'm dying to try this out!
