FlickrExport for iPhoto and Aperture updated
I only use one plugin for iPhoto and it is Connected Flow's amazingly useful FlickrExport for iPhoto. I know some folks think it is a little pricey, but this plugin makes posting my pictures to Flickr a breeze, and I am willing to pay a fair price for anything that makes my digital life easier. From the Connected Flow blog comes news that FlickrExport (both for iPhoto and Aperture) has been updated to resolve an issue with uploading large amounts of pictures to Flickr. Full release notes are available for the iPhoto and Aperture versions here and here, respectively. If you're a user of either plugin be sure to download the update. A license for FlickrExport for iPhoto costs £12 whilst the Aperture plugin will set you back £14.

I bet you bloggers get free software and/or updates when you blog about them...

That's weird, because my iPhoto install came with a flickr export plugin. The one from Connected Flow.

@Dan: Yes, bloggers get these (rather cheap anyway) plug-ins for free. The upgrades are free, though, so with a free copy in hand, you're not getting *anything* by blogging the update. It's your clue that these are the tools the bloggers care about.
I'd still like to see an export from Lightroom myself, but in the meantime, I'm pretty happy just dragging into the flickr uploader. I've tried the iPhoto export, though, and it is very nice.

I didn't get this plugin for free, nor do any other TUAW bloggers take free software. I paid for my copy of FlickrExport. I just like it very much, so I spread the word.
