Dockyard "dock switcher"

In the comments to our earlier post on the multiple Dock utility Dock-It, nicleT pointed us to Dockyard, a free "dock switcher" and manager. Basically, Dockyard "allows you to have multiple docks and switch between them with one click." That one click can come via the menubar, a Dashboard widget, or a free standing application, the Dockyard Manager. The latter is a "[full]-fledged dock editor" which lets you create different Docks with different items in each one. So you can easily set up different Docks with different sets of applications (e.g. one set for working with video, another for working with audio, etc.), and switch easily between them.

Dockyard is open source and a free download from Belkadan Software.

Thanks, nickelT!

How about the red and green % stuff in your menu bar.

The bubble?

How about that UP arrow?

Those little rectangle icons?

The Monitor?

Basically what is in your whole bar! :)

Thanks

The headphones are Sound Source, an audio input and output selector ... very useful.

a good use of this would be to setup an applescript that takes a key command to change your virtue desktop and then changes the dock as well. that way you can have a different virtual desktop with a different dock. just a thought.
