Apple removes Final Cut Pro crossgrade option
Recently, Apple removed the Universal crossgrade option for the Final Cut Pro Studio suite of applications from its website. Previously, the crossgrade allowed customers to update their copies of software such as Final Cut Pro to Intel-native versions. And most interestingly, this unannounced move has come just before the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) conference in Las Vegas, which is set to begin on April 14. It has been rumored that Apple will make an announcement regarding a new version of Final Cut Pro at NAB, and this bit of news potentially supports that claim. Anyway, worth keeping in mind, and hopefully everyone took advantage of the crossgrade in time![via MacNN]

I find it interestingly that you think "interestingly" is a real word.

I sent this to you guys like a week ago! lol!
@Jeem
Umm... it is a word. Interestingly is the adverb form of interesting. Just because it isn't used in normal speech, does not make it not a word.

With regards to #3 above that posted a link to crossgrade options....
those ran out at the end of 2006. All you had to do was download
one of the forms to see the cut off dates, which have been
well known for about a year now.

I got my FCP crossgrade at the end of December, supposedly when the deal ran out. Then I heard they extended it 'till the end of March. So, there was still some time to get it in '07.Cost me $150 for a legit. version of Motion 2 & $200 for the upgrade. That was only $350 for the retail/commercial (non academic version) versus spending the $1300-$1400 for the entire suite. That was a savings of nearly $1000. That was quite a deal. While it's too early to tell, does anyone happen to know if there will be a similar deal for Final Cut 6?
