Swiss Macworld Expo Cancelled

Back in February we mentioned that Macworld Expo was coming to Switzerland. Unfortunately, German language Mac site macprime is reporting (German) that the show has been cancelled. It seems that not enough exhibitors were interested. Sorry, Swiss Mac-lovers, you're always welcome at WWDC or MWSF; according to Google Maps, you just have to "swim across the Atlantic Ocean."

Thanks, Steve!

You don't get it: there IS an Apple Expo in Paris (and in London too I guess), every year around September. No need to swim, fly, drive or run across the ocean.

Why would they swim the ocean when they can take train to Paris or London?

First Apple delays Leopard not until July, August, or September, but all the way until October with no specific date and NOW THIS???? *cuts wrists.

Google Maps has a sense of humour ... that's so funny ... "Swim across the Atlantic Ocean" ... hey, it's only 5,500 kilometers ... start training now and maybe ...

Seems more and more that there will be no Mac events any time soon... With Macworld SF having no mention of the mac, and WWDC presumably giving us the iPhone... and Leopard coming in October, what's left for us Mac nerds? Apple took the revenue on the mac and has poured it into other endeavors. Smart business move I suppose, but it's upsetting customers, myself included.
