Drumsticks for your iPod

The dazzling array of iPod accessories that are available these days just boggles my mind. I suppose selling 100 million of the things will do that for ya. Anyway, the latest wacky iPod accessory to make it on my radar is the mi Jam™ Drummer. Plug 'em into your iPod and these motion activated drumsticks allow you to drum along with your favorite songs. Who amongst us hasn't daydreamed of being the drummer in their favorite Rock and Roll band (you kids with your Rock and Roll music)?
All your drumming dreams can come true for about $30.

I'd buy em just for the nostalgia
Nearly every time TUAW posts about something like this (and, to be honest, generally it's a silly iPod accessory) I read it and go "Hey, that's pretty cool, that would make a good present/impulse purchase" and then see the price and laugh and wonder whether they'll ever sell any. For once this is a silly, useless, frivolous but FUN iPod acessory at a reasonable price. Bring on the innovation and the frivolity with affordable price tags.

Is there way to use only one drum stick so you can imitate Rick Allen (the one-armed drummer from Def Leppard)?
