ThinkSecret posts new Leopard gallery
Leopard has been delayed, we know, so let's pretend it's October with this gallery at ThinkSecret of build 9A410 (while we're at it, Hackint0sh has a gallery as well). This time around we see a number of UI improvements (like the screenshot of Automator at right) and lots of shots of Mail's new "Stationery" feature. Personally, I find image-heavy HTML email annoying, but what do I know?Sit back, browse the gallery and tell yourself, "It's almost October...It's almost October..."

The leopard screen shots have never showed anything interested. These are pretty much just like screen shots of Jaguar but with a gray-ish (ugly) tone. How come people are interested in these?

I think this is the first time I have noticed the lack of brush metal on Safari... Is it finally be dying for GOOD?

I have never understood why people complained so much about the brushed metal appearance. I have always thought that it looked just fine. I also think the brushed metal looks is allot better than the new window style.
Personally, I prefer the classic windows. Bring those back..... :-)

I agree with regard to image heavy e-mail. With the addition of "Stationary", I am hoping we will have the ability to create our own templates and therefore be able to predefine fonts, colours and signatures. Far more useful in the scheme of things I think.
Cheers,
Likkie.

No. The sooner everybody gives up on the abomination that is HTML e-mail the better. It has significantly more downsides than benefits, makes spam-filtering harder, is single-handedly responsible for the vast majority of phishing scams, and on the bottom line is nothing short of obnoxious.
I want to read e-mail sent me in the manner that's most comfortable for _me_, not the way the sender thinks might look pretty.
The world would be a better place if MUAs all defaulted to showing the plain text version of received messages by default.
