iTunes bargain Audio Books
If you're planning a trip and are looking for some inexpensive spoken books, iTunes put up a special 25 books for under $5 page that you might want to check out. These audio books include material ranging from Steven King and Jerry Seinfeld to Elie Wiesel and Ann Coulter. Be aware that most of these selections are abridged or based around short material, so there's generally a good reason they don't cost as much as most full-length audio books. The cheapest item, Harry G. Frankfurt's "On Bulls**t" (Apple adds even more asterisks than I) costs just $2.95 for an hour's frank discussion.

Crap, I think the sale is over already... can anyone else confirm?

That said, I haven't listened to any audiobooks since the last hurricane left me sitting in the dark for a couple of weeks. For regular books, I love my library card.
Or, instead of paying any $, you could get yourself a library card and download thousands of free audio books. Houston has such a program and I'm sure many major metro libraries have something similar.

could someone explain me this asterisks thing, especially for this title (link above). (ok no audiobook, just music). I'm not a native english speaker (as you can see), this may be why I don't understand this :-)
Um, is it just me or is it kinda dumb for iTunes to censor the name of the book when the cover art has the full name anyway?

I've listened to this book, and really enjoyed it. I didn't want it to end. I highly recommend it, and it's a steal at $4.95! I wish I'd paid so little for it.
