LEGO Star Wars goes Universal

That's right: it's been a while since we've had to write about an app (finally) going Universal (Adobe CS3 notwithstanding), and even longer since I've had the opportunity to make a Star Wars pun, so there it is. All joking aside though, Aspyr apparently released this patch earlier in the month, but I just caught it in today's newsletter. You can snag the 4.71MB update from Macgamefiles.com.

I just wish MATLAB would finally go intel. Using windows just for that piece of shit pisses me off.

MATLAB's R2007a release is an Intel Release. It works very well on my iMac Intel C2D.

So nice of them to totally abandon Star Wars: Battlefront. Runs like crap in Rosetta.

The game is plenty fun with a USB controller, but if you don't have one the default keyboard-only commands are truly painful to use. It acts like a shooter, but doesn't allow you to use the mouse.
The only way I can recommend this game is if you own a USB gamepad/joystick controller.
