Honestly, I don't have any favourite website using Microsoft video technologies, but kudos to Filp4Mac team, the also offer a really good support.

Finally! I never really understood why this wasn't implemented, as Microsoft stopped supporting WMP on the mac and now directs you to Flip4Mac...
It actually works, now I can watch those cnn videos

The Flip4Mac plugin is a great player, and is absolutly indespensible with the majority of websites publishing in windows media format.
I really really wish Apple would have some sort of agreement with Flip4Mac so that it would be included be default with new Macs.
I have stopped counting the number of new Mac users who ask me how to play web videos.
The sad reality is that most websites do use this microsoft format, and when a new Mac user tries to look at thier favorite websites and can not, it leaves a bad impression of Apple products.

I find that most of the WMV on the web isn't worth watching anyway. Most of the good content is in Quicktime h.264 or Flash.
There is quite a lot of crap in Quicktime and Flash too, but most of the crap is WMV.

This is a beta you're linking to, no? Any idea how that affects a Flip4Mac Pro account?

Let us know when it comes out of beta. No offense to the F4M team -- I just don't feel like being adventurous today.

Yeah, Flip4Mac is definitely something that has to live on your Mac, but I would prefer Quicktime...that ain't gonna happen though. WMV dominates the video landscape on the net, and the problem further compounds when the various providers wrap weird codecs inside a WMV. If they could all just settle on the compatible formats that F4M already deals with.
BTW, Telestream has a new DVD imaging app out now that I think is pretty good. I actually like the idea of working with a DVD copying program that's on the "up and up", And, it produces complete imaged copies in the original resolution. Check it out HERE
