You know how it goes. The dumpy guy is supposed to be the PC and the cool guy is the Mac. Right? David Letterman decided to redefine the Mac vs PC conflict, enlisting Chris Elliott to play Mac. Here's Letterman's take on the whole phenomenon. Let's just say that Mac doesn't make out quite so well as he usually does. And Chris Elliott is no Justin Long.

Wow, I've seen a lot of lame spoofs on these commercials, but that may have been the lamest.

This whole ad campaign has been very successful and all, but when even the spoofs get boring... well, maybe they should move on to a new campaign.

Parody ads using Ruby on Rails => http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQbuyKUaKFo .
There's going to be four total. The first three are already up.

I prefer the second one, if only for the way Chris Elliot says: "My Balls" and " You kicked my penis"

I guess that's what happens when Viacom and MS are in business together.
Viacom owns CBC and Late Show and Letterman. MS and Viacom have interests in each other.

Those weren't that funny, I agree, but on Letterman that's often the POINT. It's meta-funny. or not, depending on your tastes.
Anyone who suggests that CBS's corporate interest dictates or even influences Letterman's comic decisions though, undertands nothing about the man or his show.

Nah the POINT is that Letterman and his show is not funny. and he's old. But Conan O'Brian, there's a funny man. But he might be in need of an apple tv : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMFYOzg_VWY

some of the spoofs out there are funny. this one wasn't.
and the fact that letterman can't tell which one is the mac and which one is the pc despite every commercial beginning with "Hello, I'm a Mac. And I'm a PC", maybe those heart bypasses are starting to make letterman a bit lacking in the intelligence area (not to mention hilarity).
