Skype for Mac 2.6 released
As if it weren't enough that you got free calls on Mother's Day, now the Skype Internet telephony client for Mac has been updated to version 2.6. New in this version: better echo cancellation, editing of SkypeOut contact numbers, calls to Skype Prime providers, bug fixes and more. Complete change list is here. Now, if someone can help me figure out how to adjust my Bluetooth headset volume while on a Skype call, I'll be a happy man.
Thanks Nik!

And it still doesn't work with my network mounted home directory. It did last year when it was PowerPC only. =(

Anyone know if the "Skype Me" html button for a website is working in Firefox again? Works fine in Safari.
See my contact page for proof it doesn't work.

For the three other TUAW regulars who are still on G3, Skype somewhat bury the minimum requirements: G4 800Mhz and above. For the rest of you: enjoy!

To the poster who was requesting info on how to adjust input volume while on a call, all you have to do is start the call, open system preferences then the sound panel then select the input tab and choose your bluetooth headset as the default input. That will change the volume slider to the level of your bluetooth headset which can then be raised or lowered, even if your on a call.

#6 -- thanks, but it's the OUTPUT volume I need to adjust. System volume doesn't seem to have any effect.

Your headset should show up in both the Output and Input tabs in the Sound preference. Mine does.
