Apple.com sports new look

Looks like the web elves at been hard at work Leoparding up Apple.com. The website has been overhauled to be more in line with the new look of Leopard, which will be hitting your desktop sometime in October. I am sure there are many wed designers taking a gander at the code Apple has used in this new look.
So, readers, what do you think of the new look?

Very nice overall. I really like the horizontal scrollbar for the iPod/iTunes page, for instance. I can't say I'm a fan of the metallic Apple logo in the top bar however.

Cool look. I wonder, though, why the apple store was down when no new products are available?

I miss the secondary navigation below the top level navigation at the top of the screen. Now I need to find the sub-section in the page itself. Like all things, just when you get used to something, they change it. Looks awesome though, I love the wider store, and the scrolling section on the mac page is great.

Looks pretty decent. It's about time they updated the the site. The new Safari isn't too shabby either. Might make me switch back from Firefox.

Very Nice. It's almost shocking to not see the classic Apple header navigation.

Because the store uses WebObjects, which needed to be taken down to upload the new design. I PERSONALLY FIND IT FRICKIN GORGEOUS.

@pangelav
The X is still there because Leopard is 10.5 (X.5) ;)

Safari 3, however, sports no new look... yet, must be saving the full blown version for leopard (i know this is just a beta, but i was hopeful for a few new features, like a new look - give me time to get used to it)
