existing customers can upgrade to Path Finder 4.7 for $17.95US
It's a free upgrade for registered Path Finder 4 users. (And it's a good thing, because if it had tried to make me pay for a point upgrade, it would've ben over.)

I've always had a question concerning pathfinder vs. the finder: How does one quit the finder so that you can use PF exclusively? I find that when using pathfinder, the finder gets in the way, especially when you accidentally click on the desktop.
Finder, please go away and let us use pathfinder!

I still have my PathFinder 4 license but I won't using until they get twin panels. (been promising it since 2005). In the meantime Forklift fills most of my needs except for the image browser.

this is a great app. i'm sure i use a very small percentage of it's features, but just for it's excellent tabbed browsing, it's worth it for me. it helps soften the blow that Leopard still doesn't have tabbed browsing in the finder.
the dropstack feature is also ingenious and makes it so much more easy and painless to move files around. moving files around in OS X is unbelievably awkward and difficult (you have to open multiple finder windows OR walk the spring-loaded folder tightrope through all the sub-directories OR copy and paste which just seems wrong in such an otherwise classy GUI environment).
worth every penny.

If you want dual-pane get ForkLift from http://www.binarynights.com. It's a brand new file manager with amazing speed and features, even FTP/SFTP and Bluetooth handling.
