Swift Share, Mac/PC file sharing utility, on 55% sale at MacZOT today only

While I admit I don't have much use for an app like Swift Share and I don't even have any Windows machines lying around the house, I can definitely see the appeal and need for an app like this. Typically, Swift Share costs a mere $19.95, but for today only that price has been temporarily set aside in a whopping 55% sale for a grand total of $8.95. Sounds like a darn good deal for anyone working between both sides of the fence.

@5:
Like adding shares to NetInfo is such an unfathomable task to anyone who uses/needs those features.
Share Points has become very outdated, lacks a fluid Apple-like design. Offers very few server configuration options in comparison to Swift Share, and from the looks of it will not support automounting, ACL support, or syncing any time in the future. Those last three features are planned for Swift Share this summer.

I have a RAID1 (mirrored), 750GB, Firewire Hard drive hanging off one of my iMacs. All my media lives there (iTunes, iPhoto, movies, doc's etc.) I can get to that external Raid drive from any machine on my network, including all my windows machines. For iTunes alone, I have a shortcut/alias, in the iTunes Music folder of every local machine on the network, pointing back to that one library of music to manage.

#2: We've only covered two or three MacZOT sales in the last two or three days, and they're only because these are apps we use and like. You have nothing to worry about.

I used it to turn a Mac Mini running vanilla Tiger into a file server.
