Rig of the Week

TUAW reader omdot has posted a sweet shot of his Mac mini raid - artfully arranged, we might add - to our Flickr pool. He uses it as a backup of his main Linux system, and it updates itself hourly. Pretty cool.

If you'd like to see your own rig featured here, simply upload photos into our group Flickr pool. Each Sunday (or Monday) we'll comb through the most recent entries and declare a "Rig of the Week!"

To the pedants above - what kind of *RAID* wouldn't involve a lot of storage? Of course it's a single CPU and a lot of disks. If it were a lot of CPU's, it would be a compute cluster, not a RAID.

They are not all mac mini's, only the one on the far left it. The rest are external Hd's w/ the mini's form factor. Roberto...did you really think at first that they were all mac mini's? It's a raid array, not a mac mini cluster...

I don't think they are mac mini...

This is a photo representink a bunch of iomega MiniMax external drives, whose form factor is mac mini like, so you can stack them under your mini.

Mac mini DOES NOT have a blue light in the middle bottom, just a mini-led to indicate it's ower status.
