Two 'casual' games coming soon via Aspyr Media
Aspyr Media recently announced the upcoming release of two so-called "casual" games for Mac OS X 10.3.9 (and up): Virtual Villagers and Travelogue 360: Paris, both created by Big Fish Games. These two titles are set to ship in August for $30 each. Virtual Villagers is a real-time strategy game in which players must guide villagers in rebuilding their land after a volcanic eruption. Travelogue 360: Paris is a simplistic puzzle game in which players must find hidden objects in multiple locales of Paris, France, and the game includes two different gameplay modes. Although these might not shake up the Mac game scene, it's nice to see some new titles coming soon via Aspyr.

It's time REAL games were developed for Mac and none of this stuff.
I want to see a new generation shooter or RTS exclusively for the mac, but I'm probably getting my hopes up

If you're looking for casual games for the Mac, check out the PlayFirst site at http://www.playfirst.com/category/mac
Dream Chronicles and Chocolatier have been keeping me busy.
DISCLAIMER - I proudly work for PlayFirst. When I first started a year ago we had one Mac game on the site and now there are over 20. Don't lose hope, the Mac developers are out there!

Hmm... no big news. VirtualVillagers even been on MacZot.
I would welcome a port of Dreamfall much more.
Oh.. and porting GT Legends ( http://gt-legends.com ) would top everything, but SimBin is not willing to :(

I think that this is really a iphone game release.
Didn't the new head of games for Apple come from here, wouldn' t he want to stock the pond for the iphone games pool with "fish" that he already had? Or do I just want to go fishing so bad (play games for the iphone and have that avenue opened up and see how powerful the "system" can be, or if it ever will be)
It would also seem smart to open a new feature up with every new country release, so as England finally had their waiting end, we all could celebrate the release with a small one, too.
I hope we get to fish soon
