Pro Application Support 4.0.2
Attention Final Cut Studio users, Apple has just released Pro Application Support 4.0.2 which, 'addresses issues with keyboard interface reliability for Apple's professional applications and is recommended for all users of Final Cut Studio.'Keyboard shortcuts are very important for the video types out there, so I am guess this is a must have update.
Thanks, macbadger.

Update applies to Aperture owners as well. Don't know what it brings in terms of changes though.

Keyboard stability? Give me a break.
What Apple needs to work on is the stability issues with SoundTrack Pro and Motion in this latest release. How incredibly frustrating to have ST Pro finally offer some tools that are useful to real-world editors and yet release it in such an incredibly buggy state. Same goes for Motion. My Oct-core MacPro with zillions of megs of RAM can't understand why these apps continue to spontaneously quite over and over again, even after having meticulously gone through the post installation files and removed pref files and the like as per suggestions on Apple discussion boards, things that should have been taken care of in the installation process.
Frankly, for me, the keyboard works great in FCStudio2.

Audio professionals beware.
It has become painfully apparent that although SoundTrack Pro 2 has some awesome features, it's shear propensity to be of "early Beta class" software means it is utterly useless at this time. In fact it has cost myself and my company at least 20 wasted hours of time in just this past week. We've decided to ignore ST Pro 2 until a major patch is released. Wnen discussing w/Apple, their rhetoric flies much too freely. This is sad of course.
Logic Pro is stable and extremely capable. Better, actually than anything else we've used including Pro Tools. However, valuable "round-trips" between this audio software and Final Cut are not featured.
