Mémoires: simple journaling

Mémoires is a modest piece of software with modest ambitions, but this simple journaling software brings off those aims with style and aplomb. It's basically a diary program with a calendar that helps you keep track of the entries. In many ways this approach is more or less the opposite of the excellent Journler, whose developer seems to take a kind of "kitchen sink" attitude toward features. Nonetheless, if all you want is a simple and stylish program to keep a journal this might be just what you need.
Mémoires is in beta and available for download from Coding Robots.

Journals are precious things, right? The key issue with any digital input method like this is that the information should be printable and/or shareable in some format that can be passed on in a hundred years time. This currently has no such option.

I'm perhaps being dumb, but can't you do that in iWeb, like a blog you wouldn't publish??
+ you could publish it easily if you wanted to?

I really love simple and capable programs like this - it can even store PDFs! There's just a few things i'd really want in it, tought:
- Ability to hide the calendar.
- Ability to reorder the entries.
- A service that allows sending selected text from any app to Memories as a new entry (like Journler).

Memoires just came out with a new update. It includes highlighting the dates when there is an entry and a few other improvements. This program is great!
