TUAW and Gametap invite you to test their beta
Gametap, as you may already know, is working hard on a Mac client for their game subscription service, and when they told us they were looking for a few good beta testers, we told them to look no further than you, our beloved TUAW readers. So together with GameTap, we're offering you a chance to not only help them test their beta, but check out their service and their games (from Atari to Zork) for free.UPDATE: Gametap has all the beta testers they need, we've removed the Read link.
The deets, direct from GameTap:
GameTap is searching for people who love to play games - and we want you! No matter whether you prefer action games such as Golden Axe and Street Fighter, adventures games such as Ultima and King's Quest, sports games such as Baseball Stars and Football, or puzzle games like Bust-A-Move and Columns, GameTap has it all and wants you to have it for FREE.
GameTap is constantly adding new features, new game platforms, and of course, more games and the GameTap team needs more Beta testers to help test and evaluate its new offerings. If you're serious about games, willing to provide detailed, top-notch feedback, and are currently using an Intel(R)-CPU Mac, GameTap invites you to join its Beta team (and have a lot of fun in the process).
To apply, visit GameTap's beta site and use the password: Marshall. Please fill out GameTap's Beta application with as much detail as possible.
Please note that not everyone who applies will be accepted and that your answers will be used to determine your qualifications for beta testing. The GameTap staff looks forward to your help testing out the latest and greatest features of GameTap.
Thank you,
GameTap and TUAW

Just don't buy Leopard. All you're going to get is more eye candy. Is 10.4 so bad that you feel your G3 will get more from 10.5?

Don't insult the mentally disabled. It's bad form.
Well, the terms are conditions sure are... weird. Noticeably a copy-paste from their last beta. It says the beta period will end in December 31, 2006.
Wait, that already happened. Shoot.
They should read things before posting...
rp, I was going to rant a bit on how ridiculous your reasoning is, but I'm watching the Simpson's, and frankly, it isn't worth my time. But while you're putting that lawsuit together, could you get some damages for Netflix not offering their Watch it Now features for my Mac? Anyway, I'd keep up the conversation bu me and my MBP have to finish up the beta registration.
i am still going to read the site btw i just missed it, i normally just help people if i can un like u people though
