Typo in Illustration? Interesting product though, I'll have a look at it.

Why would anyone create a website with this software. Have you seen the website it is on? Come on vendors, if you are going to sell software, especially HTML software, please have a great looking site.

They absolutely need to care more about their website and graphics.

I wouldn't use it to make a web site, but Create is truly a hidden gem when it comes to PDF. Import multipage "protected" PDF documents, add pages, delete pages, crop down to size, add content, etc. It's the best PDF swiss army knife I've ever seen. If you ever need to slice up PDFs or create multi-page PDFs, download the demo and try it out.

Thank you for your comments.
If you are planning to hand code your HTML, maybe Create is not for you (although it can quickly prototype and convert all your graphics to web images and still be useful).
For the majority of Mac users who may have absolutely no idea what HTML is, Create can quickly make beautiful, XHTML compliant sites.
What Create does offer is one single approach to both publish to Web and publish to print. Consider that other vendors would have you buy 3 or 4 applications to do this workflow (at about 10 times the cost plus yearly upgrade fees!)
And, beauty is in the eye of the beholder - so what appeals to me in design (I have a degree architecture so I happen to like white space), may not appeal to your sense of design.
Andrew Stone, in my 18th year of working on Create!

I've been using Create for many years. Unlike some of the previous reviewers, I think Create is a real gem, and version 14 is incredible.
To those who say that the web site they host it on is not all that great, I would ask something very simple - did the guy who wrote the code for Microsoft Word also have the talent in writing of a Fitzgerald, Poe, Dickinson or Joyce? Of course not. In the exact same way, Create is a tool (and a wonderful tool at that) to allow me to make virtually whatever I want.
I've never paid for an upgrade, all my questions are answered faster than any other company I've ever worked with, the community of people who use this software is incredible, and (best of all) it only runs on a Mac. (gotta love that!) This is what Mac software should be like.
If you don't like their website, that's A OK. Download the full strength 30 day demo, and check it out yourself. I'm one of many people that will help answer your questions for free. I make amazing stuff with Create that other graphics people say looks absolutely great. Not only does it make my work look great, it's easy to use. Try it yourself and see. I did, and it's one of the best reasons to this day to use a Mac.
Sincerely,
Russ Conte

Funny--have you seen the website these comments are on?
Seriously, as a fairly new user of Create I concur with the other user posters. Create is an excellent tool that does many things so well and easily. A friendly and helpful forum community; a developer who listens, responds (often very quickly!) and is constantly tweaking and improving; upgrades for life. Create fits a category of user that deserves more notice and I also recommend it to my colleagues and friends.
Oh....okay....here is my site: http://www.unc.edu/~cwt4885/Home.html
Still, don't confuse my personal design/content choices with how a program is used and useful.
HTH,
Craig Turner
